Be with me, Lord, as I go about the business of the day. Let me be open to the gentle whisperings of Your Spirit in my encounters with family, friends, co-workers, or companions on the journey back to You. To the persons I love, let me cherish the moments together, and be a source of joy and peace to them. To the strangers I meet, let me be a witness to Your compassion and care. To those I don’t particularly like or get along with, let me show patience, courtesy, and respect. Let me live the minutes and the hours of this day in praise and honor to You. In Jesus name I pray.
