Almighty and Eternal God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, Source of all goodness I thank You for the different seasons in my life. May I be reminded that after winter comes spring; after the night comes the day; after the great storm, clear and pleasant weather shines through again; after Good Friday, Easter Sunday! Lord, let me hold on to Your promise that 'joy cometh in the morning' In Jesus name I pray.
"For you shall go out in joy and be led back in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall burst into song, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands."
Isaiah 55:12 (NRSV)

Week of Sept. 23 - 29, 2012
Heavenly Father, we come thanking You for Your guiding light in our lives. You are
always with us, walking beside us, gently guiding us on the pathway of life. Your hands,
filled with comfort and peace, are extended to each of us. Forgive us for forgetting to ask
You to come and be with us in our daily activities. We need You every minute of each day.
Please help us to call out to You to receive the blessings You have for us. Help us to share these
blessings with those in need. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”

Week of October 25
Lord, in the busyness of everyday life, it’s often difficult to remember that You are ever present. Help me make a conscious effort today to find some inner sanctum of peace and quiet, to reflect on Your goodness, mercy, and love. Your love far exceeds all that I could hope for or desire. Help me silence the noisy distractions that tug and pull my thoughts in a hundred different directions. Let me focus on You, and be ever mindful that You are here within my heart – You, Who are exalted among the nations! May my heart rest in the calmness and greatness of Your presence. O Lord, I adore You and worship You. Amen. "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
(Psalm 46:10, American Standard Version)
