Father in Heaven, through Your Son, You have taught us the true meaning of love when Jesus chose to die for us all even while we were sinners. Your Word commands us to love our enemies and do good to those who hate us. Allow Your Holy Spirit to empower us because it is only through His power and Your grace that we are able to love and pray for those who would persecute us. Help us Father to be obedient to Your command, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father God, we bring our President to Your throne of grace. We ask You to give him wisdom as he governs this land and its people. Please protect him and his family. Let peace always prevail amongst the governing authorities and may they seek You for the decisions that are made for this country.
