O Lord, I am in trouble and it is not well with me. O most beloved Father, help me not to fear and give me patience in all my afflictions. May You be glorified and praised in all things in Your precious name I pray. Amen.
"I called on Your Name, O Lord, from the depths of the pit; You heard my plea, ‘Do not close Your ear to my cry for help, but give me relief!’ You came near when I called on You; You said, ‘Do not fear!’ You have taken up my cause, O Lord, You have redeemed my life."

Lord, Peter walked on water to You because he believed, but when he took his eyes off of You and paid attention to the wind and waves he began to sink. Give us faith to follow You even though it seems impossible in a world that tries to pull us from You every minute of the day. Help us to remain focused on You because we too can drown if we let the winds of life cause us to be afraid. Help us Lord! Pull us out of the deep waters of fear, stretch out Your hands and catch us for we put our trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
"And Peter answered Him and said 'Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.' So He said, 'Come.' And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, 'Lord, save me!' And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, 'O you of little faith, why did you doubt'?"
Matthew 14:28-31 (NKJ)

Come Holy Spirit, and teach me ways that I can have a servant’s heart. Fill me Lord with Your love and grace to surrender all. Jesus, change my heart to be more like Yours. I want to serve rather than be served and to love rather than be loved. Let me be last so that You and Your gospel may be first in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Alleluias will echo and resound because death has been conquered and victory has been revealed in the cross! In You is health, in You is life, in You is strength of mind, joy of spirit, hope for salvation and everlasting life. In Your precious and Holy Name I pray, Amen.

Jesus, You are risen from the dead, You are alive! Because You live, my Lord, I can face tomorrow. Because You live, my Lord, all fear is gone. You have my future in Your Hands and I thank You. Help me to know and appreciate the awesome mysteries of the redemption you have won for me. Instill Your Divine love in me that I might love others with the love You have shown me by the power of Your Holy Spirit to the glory of my heavenly Father. Alleluia! Alleluia!.

Almighty and Eternal God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, Source of all goodness I thank You for the different seasons in my life. May I be reminded that after winter comes spring; after the night comes the day; after the great storm, clear and pleasant weather shines through again; after Good Friday, Easter Sunday! Lord, let me hold on to Your promise that ‘joy cometh in the morning.’ In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Gracious and loving Father, let us take the opportunity at this time of the year to cry out in our hearts as the crowd did many years ago: Hosanna in the highest, Hosanna to our risen King, Hosanna to our Savior! We rejoice and lift our voices in praise to You, O Lamb of God. Blessed is He who comes in the name of The Lord! Alleluia! .
"And the crowds that went before Him and that followed Him were shouting, 'Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!'!"

Lord, thank You for the greatest opportunity to carry the greatest message to those who need to hear it most in every corner of the world. Like St. Patrick and many missionaries who have traveled to the "ends of the earth," give us a genuine love and passion that is greater than fear, distance or any barriers. Thank You for Your Divine Presence with us, behind us, before us and most of all within us. Breathe the hope of the Gospel afresh in us through Your Holy Spirit during this Lenten season, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Father in Heaven, through Your Son, You have taught us the true meaning of love when Jesus chose to die for us all even while we were sinners. Your Word commands us to love our enemies and do good to those who hate us. Allow Your Holy Spirit to empower us because it is only through His power and Your grace that we are able to love and pray for those who would persecute us. Help us Father to be obedient to Your command, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, for if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?"

Precious Jesus, it is in You that we find the oil of joy, it is to You we give our spirit of heaviness, it is You we praise, it is You we want to glorify. We give you our hearts, the very depths of our soul, the valleys and the dry deserts and we ask You to give us beauty for ashes that Your name may be exalted in all the earth. Amen.
"To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified."

Lord God, Our Father, the one true source of righteousness, justice and peace, we come to You asking first for forgiveness for those we’ve treated unfairly, unjustly and in an unrighteous way. Heavenly Father, I worship and adore You for You alone are worthy of all honor and glory. As we begin a new year I fall on my knees and ask Your forgiveness for all those failings that I have not brought before You. Help me not to look back with regret and remorse for what has gone before. Rather, help me to look forward to my continued adventure with You in the year 2015. I pray for our country that You will keep us safe and secure in Your everlasting arms and that we will always keep our gaze fixed on You. Bless my loved ones. Protect them from all harm and danger and turn the hearts of those who have strayed from Your path back to You. I recommit my life to You and promise that throughout the year I will listen to Your voice and Your voice alone. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Lord, as I begin this new year may I be diligent in calling on You because You hear, and praying to You because You listen. May I seek You for all guidance and wisdom for 2015 knowing that if I do so with all my heart, I will find You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
