God, our Father, we hold on to the promises in Your word that no matter the circumstance, no matter the situation, no matter how many tears we shed, You promise that joy will come in the morning. We are sometimes so immersed in our own problems we fail to look to You, the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Forgive us, Lord, when we see disappointments and failures bigger than You are, when we think You have forgotten us, Your favor is for life because Your word says it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
"For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning."
Psalm 30:5 (NKJ)

Lord Jesus give us grace that we will do the works that You
did when you walked this earth. We are your body here and now. By Your
grace we will act boldly so that in Your name we will feed not just
5,000 but millions of children, women and men. In Your name we will
house those living in squalor. In Your name we will heal the sick
through clinics and medical missions. As You raised the son of a widow
in Nain, we will reduce infant mortality of the poor. In Your name we
will release prisoners in the countries we serve. Holy Spirit grant us a
bold faith so that we can do more than we can ask for or imagine in
Jesus’ Holy Name we pray.
Amen

"Very truly I tell you, whoever
believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do
even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be
glorified in the Son.
You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."

O God, you alone judge rightly; you alone know our hearts. Make us swift to do your will and slow to judge our neighbor, that, with all who walk the way of repentance and faith, we may, with all the blessed, enter your heavenly realm. We make our prayer through Jesus the Christ living and reigning with You and the Holy Spirit, age to age and forever.
Amen

Dear Father, in this new year please help us increase our faith by spending time with You in prayer. By praying and reading your Holy Word we have assurance that in spite of what happens around us and in our difficult situations, You will take care of us. You will help us and keep us because we as your children are far more important to you than the grass of the field. So, thank you Lord for your love and tender care for us. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, [will He] not much more [clothe] you, O you of little faith?
— Matthew 6:30

Father God, thank You for Your faithfulness in our lives. Today, we choose to trust You with our past, present, and future. Give us wisdom to discern the seasons of our lives, and teach us to embrace the new things You have in store for us. Our faith is renewed in You and Your word. We pray all this in Jesus’ holy and righteous name.
Amen.
“The right hand of the Lord is exalted.
The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.”
— Psalm 118:16-17 (KJV)
