My Lord and My God, I am filled with gratitude and excitement as I start this new day. I look forward to all the ways that You will be present to me: in the glowing morning sunrise; in the beauty of nature; in the members of my family and the people I will meet; in the work that I will carry out. I am open to all that awaits me. I accept all that comes my way today as a blessing and gift from You. I pray for Your guidance now, that I will be where I need to be, work as hard as I possibly can, and do what I need to do to accomplish Your will in my life. In this Thanksgiving holiday season, I want to thank You, dear Lord, for all the many graces I have been given to help me on my journey towards holiness. I give You thanks and praise.
