April 12 - 18, 2015

My Savior and Redeemer, let me not dread to carry the cross You have chosen for me. Let my cross be joined with Yours, Lord. Alleluias will echo and resound because death has been conquered and victory has been revealed in the cross! In You is health, in You is life, in You is strength of mind, joy of spirit, hope for salvation and everlasting life. In Your precious and Holy Name I pray, Amen.

"Then He said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me'."
Luke 9:23 (NRSV)

April 5 - 11, 2015

Jesus, You are risen from the dead, You are alive! Because You live, my Lord, I can face tomorrow. Because You live, my Lord, all fear is gone. You have my future in Your Hands and I thank You. Help me to know and appreciate the awesome mysteries of the redemption you have won for me. Instill Your Divine love in me that I might love others with the love You have shown me by the power of Your Holy Spirit to the glory of my heavenly Father. Alleluia! Alleluia!.

"Therefore, we have been buried with Him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life."
Romans 6:4 (NRSV)

March 30 - April 4, 2015

Almighty and Eternal God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, Source of all goodness I thank You for the different seasons in my life. May I be reminded that after winter comes spring; after the night comes the day; after the great storm, clear and pleasant weather shines through again; after Good Friday, Easter Sunday! Lord, let me hold on to Your promise that ‘joy cometh in the morning.’ In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

"For you shall go out in joy and be led back in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall burst into song, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands."
Isaiah 55:12 (NRSV)

March 22 - 28, 2015

Gracious and loving Father, let us take the opportunity at this time of the year to cry out in our hearts as the crowd did many years ago: Hosanna in the highest, Hosanna to our risen King, Hosanna to our Savior! We rejoice and lift our voices in praise to You, O Lamb of God. Blessed is He who comes in the name of The Lord! Alleluia! .

"And the crowds that went before Him and that followed Him were shouting, 'Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!'!"
Matthew 21:9 (ESV)

March 15 - 21, 2015

Lord, thank You for the greatest opportunity to carry the greatest message to those who need to hear it most in every corner of the world. Like St. Patrick and many missionaries who have traveled to the "ends of the earth," give us a genuine love and passion that is greater than fear, distance or any barriers. Thank You for Your Divine Presence with us, behind us, before us and most of all within us. Breathe the hope of the Gospel afresh in us through Your Holy Spirit during this Lenten season, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)

March 8 - 14, 2015

Father, help me to forgive those who offend me. Help me to "turn the other cheek" and offer forgiveness and compassion. Help me to remember that true peace does not come from man but only from You, the Prince of Peace. In Your name I pray, Amen.

"For if you forgive others their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
Matthew 6:14-15 (NRSV)

March 1 - 7, 2015

Lord, by the grace of Your Holy Spirit, show me the things that are displeasing to You and give me true heavenly wisdom as I seek You. Above all Lord, help me to love and serve You as You deserve. In Your name I pray, Amen.

"Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near; let the wicked forsake their way, and the unrighteous their thoughts; let them return to the Lord, that He may have mercy on them, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon."
Isaiah 55:6-7 (NRSV)
