Nov. 30 - Dec. 6, 2014

Heavenly Father, thank You for the faith of the Blessed Mother of our Lord and Savior, who realized before she even gave birth the truth in the name “Immanuel”, God with us...You are with us! In the most fearful, improbable, and impossible circumstances, You are there! Lord impart to us that same trusting faith and let Your word be first and last no matter how difficult the situation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

"The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel (which means 'God with us')."
Matthew 1:23(NIV)

Bless the Lord, oh my soul and all that is within me. Father God, You have forgiven all my sins. You have redeemed me from hurt, harm and danger. Thank You Lord for all Your blessings: life, strength, joy and wisdom, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases."

You Lord are my hope and everlasting help. There is none like You Lord, who govern with justice and righteousness. I beseech You, my Savior to restore, renew and repair all the brokenness in my life. I know that all things will work together for my good because I love You, Jesus and make this prayer in Your name. Amen.

"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose."

Nov. 9 - 15, 2014

Lord God, Our Father, we thank You so much for those who daily imitate the sacrificial love of Our Savior whether they are standing watch on a military assignment, or a wounded veteran who gave up part of themselves to defend our freedom. We pray for their protection, peace and the strength of their faith. We also remember our first responders here at home and our missionaries who all risk their lives and livelihood for their fellow man. Bless and embolden them for the task at hand and provide for their families in their absence, in Jesus’ Name.Amen.

"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends."
John 15:13 (NKJ))

Nov. 1 - 8, 2014

Holy Lord, thank You for all those faithful who have gone before us leaving a legacy of hope in Your resurrection to their families, serving generation after generation, like the seasons that pass from fall to winter bringing hope and new life in the spring. Let our hope always be in You oh Gracious Lord Jesus for You are our eternal desire, You are our new life, You are our precious everlasting reward. Amen.

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints."
Psalm 116:15 (RSV)
