Nov. 24 - 30, 2013

O God, You are my God. During this Thanksgiving season we do want to recount all of Your wonderful deeds. First and foremost we give You thanks for the Cross upon which our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and the stripes He bore for our transgressions Each day of life is a gift from You and we give You thanks, for every breath we take has been ordered by You. For the beauty of the firmament around us, for the sunshine and the rain, for the ocean waves and for the quiet breezes, we give You thanks. Thank You for the love You shower on us each day and may we take this opportunity to pour out that love to our family, our friends and our neighbors. In the great name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.

"I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds."
Psalm 9:1 (ESV)

Nov. 17 -23, 2013

Almighty, most holy God, we come to Your mercy seat to present ourselves as living sacrifices that we may be acceptable unto You, our God. We acknowledge that You are Jehovah and You are the ultimate healer of every sickness or disease that may inflict our bodies. You made the blind to see and the deaf to hear and there is no sickness You can’t heal. Receive the glory Lord Jesus, from every healing that takes place, every cancer that has gone into remission, every heart that continues to pump, every hungry child that You have fed, for the Lord is great and greatly to be praised. We make this prayer through Christ Jesus, our Lord. Amen.

"But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing."
Luke 9:11 (NKJ)

Nov. 10 - 16, 2013

Thank you, Lord Jesus that You speak to us, that Your word is living and active and does not return void. Help our unbelief in those times of doubt. May we choose this day to rely on You and see The Glory of God. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

"And Jesus said to her, Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe, you would see the Glory of God."
John 11:40 (NIV)

Nov. 3 - 9, 2013

Remember, God is perpetually with you, taking care of you. That is the most important fact of your existence. He is not limited by time or space; His presence with you is a forever-promise. You need not fear the future, for He is already there. When you make that quantum leap into eternity, you will find Him awaiting you in heaven. Your future is in His hands; He releases it to you day by day, moment by moment. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow. Thank You Lord for the constant assurance of Your love, care and concern for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

"So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today."
Matthew 6:34 (NRSV)
